Timeline of my life
This project was of a timeline of my life. We drew important events on a long piece of reciept paper and then presented it to the class. Each event had to be about something significant, or a time in our live that was really important to us. Mr. Purdy then weaved them together and displayed them in the hall to show others our amazing art ability.
Weaving!
This photo is an overall photo of the timeline project. In ths photo you see almost everyones timelines weaved together. The goal of the weaving was to diplay how good at art we are and show other people what they're missing if they're are not in an art class. :)
My overall timeline!
This is my overall timeline. Each picture represented an important event in my life. My timeline went like this: the day I was born, learning through toddlerhood, when my mom and dad split up, when I was not allowed to see my dad, elementry flying by, first year of a school sport (softball), when I joined Girl Scouts, my three best friends, The day I got my permit and the road ahead, another family upset, and the future left untold. All of these pictures had a significant meaning behind them. They were parts of my life where I stopped being a child and began growing up. No matter how old you are, everyday you wise a little bit more. :)
Birthday
This picture is my birthday! I chose this picture to display because if I didn't have a birthday, I wouldn't be here and because it was the start of the events to come.
Permit
This picture symbolizes when I passed the test for my permit. It was a big day ( I only had to take it twice) and I was overcome with joy of being able to finally drive!
"BARK"
I chose this picture because it represents my best friend group: Brie, Allysha (me), Regan, and Katie. Although one of my friends waver on and off of here- she was and might still possibly be one of my closest friends. My "BARK" are my family extention. They mean the world to me!
LIONS!
This picture represents the first time I ever played a school sport. I played softball the summer before fourth grade. :) Our team got 2nd overall and I finally had the feeling that I was a Lion. It was a day I'll never forget. I wasn't completely horrible at softball, I really could have done a lot better, but due to a problem called clumsiness- I have tryed to stay out of school sports. :)
The materials that were used in this project included receipt paper and colored pencils!
