All About Kites....
The kite has been around for along time! They say the kite was invented all the way back 2,800 years ago by chinese philosopers Mozi and Lu Ban and had materials usable such as silk and bamboo. The first kite ever flown was a paper kite- set drifting in the wind in 549 AD. Kites have been used for many things through out history such as carrying messages for rescue missions, testing electricity, carrying men, and just as a way to display everyones uniqueness in their own art. Although today we really only see kites used as a source of art and beauty- they are still purposeful and have had purpose through out time.
