Portrait Reflection
1) Interpret your art subjectivly: What are the good/strong parts of your artwork? Why?
Answer: I think the good/strong parts of my project was the drawing and the shading because I put a lot of effort into them. My portrait may not look like a professionals but I still worked extremely hard on it.
2) What do you think you could have done better? Why?
Answer: I still think I could have done better on the whole thing because overall, I'm still really frustrated about how it looks and really think that if I had more time and more creative days it could have looked better.
3) Evaluate your use of shading. Where are the light areas of value?
Answer: I don't know I'm still working on it.
4) Where are the dark areas of value? Why?
Answer: I don't know I'm still working on it.
5) What do you conclude about your portrait drawing ( grid, scaling, and shading)? Use evidence from your experience.
Answer: I conclude that the grid/scaling is a good way to get an accurate drawing but I really don't enjoy using it- I'd much rather perfer drawing it on blank paper. I also conclude that shading is a good way to get a dramatic picture and I like how you can have different shades of shading.
6) Metacognate. What did you learn from this project? How could you apply these skills beyond school?
Answer: I learned that I really don't think I should persume a career in the artistic field, for I have little to no tolerability for deadlines on artwork and just don't enjoy it all that much.
