Scarecrow Project
Project two, the scarecrow, was a really fun project! For this project we had to build a scarecrow using recycled materials and A LOT of effort. The best part about it was being able to work as a group. When we finished our projects we presented them to the class and then transferred them to Central Gardens to be displayed out in public. Then the public got to vote to see whose was the best in three different catagories.
Construction
This is the picture of our construction drawing. You can see in the picture that the drawing is of a dog. That was what it was suppose to be but due to not enought materials we made it into an elephant instead.
Outcome
This picture is the outcome of our project. We used golf clubs for its body, a milk jug for its face, sand paper for its eyes, weeds for its eyelashes, permanent marker for its eyes, cardboard and paint for its ears, and paper for its tail. The inspiration came to us at the last mintute and this was the turnout. :)
NOTE: I could not find my preliminary designs to save the world, therefore their pictures did not display on this page. Sorry for the inconvenience. Some of my scarecrow preliminary deigns included th dog, a taco, a colored pencil, Medusa, and others. :)
